Azria Health Woodhaven is Hiring a Marketing/Staff Engagement/Admissions Coordinator Near Great Bend, KS

We are looking for a positive, compassionate marketing/staff engagement coordinator to help the activities team schedule and coordinate events for our employees. They will assist the team in managing volunteers and resources, and delivering fun, safe events for our employees. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills. This position will also take part in staff engagement throughout the building.

Requirements for staff engagement and marketing:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Job training, CPR, and first aide training may be necessary.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Physical fitness, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
  • Patients and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to work when needed, including possible evenings, weekends, or early mornings.
  • Designs and develops marketing and promotional materials for the facility. These shall include, but are not limited to: flyers, brochures, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, social media coverage, and fundraising letters of solicitation.
  • Establishes relationships and maintains contact with primary and secondary resources in the health care field. This includes local and state level organizations who serve the senior community (City/County Senior Services, local hospitals, etc.)
  • Establishes relationships and maintains contact with various clubs, organizations and Senior Citizen's groups.
  • Recommends initiatives that manage the target audience's perception of the Nursing Home.
  • Develops and coordinates the implementation of a marketing strategy for census development and image enhancement.
  • Maintains data on census (inquiries, admissions, discharges and referral sources).
  • Maintains data on customer satisfaction.
  • Provides charts, graphs and data on marketing analysis and census development to the Administrator as needed.
  • Maintains a file of all news media coverage.
  • Attends Quality Assurance meetings and provides a marketing report.
  • Works with the Director of Nursing to ensure that all admissions are screened thoroughly and adequately prior to admission.
  • Works with the Social Services staff to ensure that all advanced directives have been discussed prior to admission so that appropriate paperwork can be in place upon admission.
  • Provides any other services or duties as required by the Administrator.
