We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our clients' Lighting Sector Team in Kenosha, WI. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the management of designated product lines. If you have a passion for new product development, strategic planning, and driving growth in the commercial lighting industry, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert for product line.
  • Optimizes revenue and profit of existing product lines. Monitor and review product line performance and trends to evaluate the budget throughout the fiscal year.
  • Drives new product development through field visits, meetings with customers (ED, specifiers, end-users), and initiates research with engineering & operations to maintain a constant flow of innovative, cost-reduced, and high-quality products.
  • Leads the long-term vision and strategic plan for designated product line(s), ensuring sustainable growth, market share and profitability, keep an eye on the market: attend trade events, competitive benchmarking, initiate & conduct research into long-term trends & customer needs.
  • Prepares and leads monthly S&OP meetings for designated product line, monitor & act on inventory levels, production capacity, service rates, and production costs to meet or beat corporate targets.
  • Provide sales support and training for Field Sales and Customer Support. Respond to sales questions, prepare sales events (National Sales Conference), support pricing strategy, travel with sales team, initiate and respond to training requests.
  • Participates in sales and marketing collateral development, including catalogs, sell sheets, product bulletins and promotional campaigns with the sales & marcom team, manages product launches.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BS in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field.
  • Specific commercial lighting or commercial lighting industry knowledge is a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, e-mail, and meeting management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and identify new ways to serve/satisfy customers.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Pay: $90-$135k/ year
