We are looking for a Material Handler for our client in Kenosha, WI.

Job Functions:

• Accurately pick parts for fabrication production lines based on live schedules.
• Update the live schedule to reflect the current location of jobs.
• Keep production departments supplied with in-process parts, materials, and supplies.
• Visually inspect received materials for defects and quantity.
• Maintain accurate records of available materials and control in-house inventories.
• Efficiently utilize storage space.
• Stock in-process inventory in the correct locations.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as specified.
• Move completed jobs to the paint department promptly.
• Utilize Vantage terminals, tablets, or handheld scanners for record-keeping tasks.
• Follow all ISO procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist in material handling in other departments when needed.
• Promote safety rules, the POD safety program, and safe operating procedures.
• Engage in training and perform backup functions as instructed.

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in Material Handling, Warehouse, or Inventory preferred.
• Strong quality control skills.
• Ability to read CAD drawings to identify stocked parts accurately.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system, ideally Epicor, to follow live production schedules and locate jobs.
• Forklift certification strongly preferred; hand truck experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High level of self-initiative and dependability.
• Flexibility to work overtime, adjust schedules, and pitch in as needed.
• Resourceful, highly organized, with great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks effectively.
• Team player with a positive, respectful, "can-do" attitude.

Pay: $18.50/hr
