Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
Skills:
- military background preferred
- Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
- Strong conflict management skills
- Certification in security-related fields is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
Experience level:
- 2 years
- 3 years
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
