Recruiter Intern

• Paid, full-time summer internship
• The internship period is May 16, 2024 - August 16, 2024 – could extend 
• Must be based in Austin, TX.
• Will be required to work in person from the office located in the Domain.

Responsibilities:

• Support the recruitment team in partnering with hiring managers and department leaders to understand the specific skill sets, qualifications, and experience required for positions within the renewable energy sector
• Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to identify and engage with potential candidates, leveraging a variety of sourcing channels such as industry-specific job boards, professional networks, and renewable energy conferences 
• Help in conducting preliminary screening processes to assess candidates' technical abilities, relevant experience, and cultural fit 
• Provide support in communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process, offering insights into the company's mission, values, and opportunities within the renewable energy field 
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives aimed at promoting the organization as an employer of choice in the renewable energy sector 

• Participate in building and maintaining a talent pipeline by assisting in establishing relationships with passive candidates, industry associations, universities, and other relevant sources 
• Support the recruitment team with administrative tasks related to the end-to-end recruitment process and onboarding experience for successful candidates 
• Assist in analyzing recruitment metrics and preparing reports on recruitment activity 
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to support the recruitment team's efforts in attracting top talent 
• Other duties as assigned or required

Key Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• A strong interest in the renewable energy sector and a passion for sustainability 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and team members 
• An eagerness to learn about various sourcing methods and recruitment strategies 
• Basic familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases is a plus, but not required 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently 
• A proactive and enthusiastic mindset with a focus on learning and professional development 
• Ability to work independently on multiple, concurrent projects with revolving, occasionally shifting deadlines and quick turnaround requests
