JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Imaging Services is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the primary/family care practice's imaging center, practice-based imaging services, management of team members and strategy to optimize current operations and support future growth. Aylo Health offers computed tomography (CT), x-ray, 3-D mammography, ultrasound, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) and other imaging technologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure imaging services meet quality and patient experience standards
  • Meet imaging compliance standards as well as performance targets such as patient forecasts, cost management and patient satisfaction
  • Proactively recommend, develop, and implement diagnostic imaging policies and procedures
  • Evaluates opportunities and manages opportunities to expand imaging services.
  • Support and facilitate coordination of workflow across front desk, providers, and clinical staff
  • Collaborate and ensure effective communication with other leaders and team members to align operations and implement workflow, quality, and process improvements as required
  • Responsible for the operational readiness, appearance, and presentation of the center
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet patient demand while meeting assigned budget
  • Responsible for team member engagement and retention through practices that promote communications, recognition, teamwork, and effective employee relations practices
  • Ensure training and development of team members by identifying training needs and establishing initiatives to meet company/individual objectives
  • Responsible for holding team members to the highest integrity and professionalism standards
  • Resolve service and care issue, including patient inquires

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 5 years management experience of 20 or more employees in an imaging center environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Certification by one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities to meet assigned deadlines
  • Team building as well as coaching for performance and development skills
  • Ability to read and interpret financial and operational reports
  • Communicate effectively, both written and orally, with all levels of the organization, team members and patient
