Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist to join our team. As an Arborist, you will use your extensive knowledge to help close sales for customers in need of tree removal, trimming, pruning, and/or stump grinding.
Duties:
- Conduct tree risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Create estimates
- Follow up with customers daily
- Organization with lead follow up and documentation
- Respond to emergency calls for storm damage or fallen trees
- Ability to generate new sales leads
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Arborist or similar role
- Proficiency in tree care practices, including pruning, and removals
- Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance principles and practices
- Understanding of plant biology and growth patterns
- Ability to diagnose and treat common tree diseases and pests
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong physical stamina
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
