aXseum Inc. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Technical Document Specialist to support a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) mission in Fort Belvoir, VA. This position will support the Defense Stockpile Management Systems (DSMS) which includes: Defense Integration and Management of Nuclear Data Services (DIAMONDS), Joint Application Design Environment (JADE), Nuclear Inventory Management and Cataloging System (NIMACS), Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), and DIAMONDS Accountability Training System (DATS).

Job Description Summary:

Technical Document Specialist supporting the Knowledge Management Function of a high profile DoD Inventory Management System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Standardizing documentation formatting for internal documents, process plans, and other documentation for the Knowledge Management repository
2. Ensuring all system documentation in the Knowledge Management repository is complete, current and associated with program planning and sustainment
3. Formats and standardizes document using Microsoft Office Products
4. Edits material for punctuation, grammar, and content.
5. Identifies contextual errors, reorganizes content, and edits graphics, tables, and illustrations.
6. Participates in the process of crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing articulate articles.
7. Collaborates closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate content.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

1. 2 years of Technical Documentation experience
2. Secret Clearance
3. Advanced skills in problem solving.
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Minimum Education and Experience: 

1. BA/BS or equivalent
2. Must complete formal CMMI Training within 12 months of starting
