Job Summary:

As an Application Engineer (AE) specializing in Automotive Ethernet Semiconductors at Axonne, you will serve as a crucial link between our customers and our engineering and sales teams. You will provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring the successful integration and utilization of our semiconductor solutions in automotive applications. This role may involve traveling to customer sites, providing hands-on assistance, and solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

• Collaborate closely with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 customers to understand their requirements and challenges.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and solutions to customers to ensure the successful implementation of our Ethernet semiconductor products.

Product Integration:

• Work closely with customers to integrate our semiconductor products into their automotive systems.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and assist with product evaluation, testing, and validation.
• Develop product Reference PCBA design on automotive ethernet solutions for system-level applications.

Technical Expertise:

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and trends related to Automotive High-speed In-Vehicle Networks. Act as the subject matter expert on our semiconductor solutions, providing guidance on best practices and configurations.

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and reference materials to support customer needs.

Feedback and Improvement:

Gather feedback from customers and relay this information to the business development, engineering, and product development teams for continuous product improvement.

Training and Education:

Provide training sessions and workshops to customers and internal teams on the usage and benefits of our semiconductor products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with min 3 years as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer or similar role in the automotive semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, network protocols, and automotive communication systems.
• Proficiency in Allegro OrCAD Schematics circuit design and PCB layout
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work directly with customers on-site.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
