Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our global Accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with all accounting activities, external reporting and further developing with the Accounting team.
Prepares monthly journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
Process AP and AR for multiple entities
Process employee expense reports
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts for multiple entities
Conduct ongoing reconciliations, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy in financials records
Follow and Maintain processes and procedures to increase efficiency
Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements for multiple entities
Perform monthly account analysis
Assist with yearly external audits
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles
Prefer Financial systems experience including Microsoft Dynamics or comparable accounting system
Proficient level in Excel
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems with minimal direction.
Ability to innovate and use technology to improve processes and performance.
Desire for continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
Strong interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail, and organizational skills
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, strong time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; assume responsibility for your work and assist others when needed. Be self-motivated.
Exhibit strong communication skills, both orally and in writing. Actively listen and clearly communicate ideas and information.
Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to multi-task, requiring a balance of responsiveness to management.
- Work from home, but ability to meet in person with Director of Accounting
Annual salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
