Position Summary:The role of the Therapist is to participate as a member of the program team to design and implement the individual care plans for program clients in accordance with policies, rules, regulations, and directives which apply. Utilizes a variety of treatment approaches and case coordination to work with a diverse client population.
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate individual to fill our open therapist position with the Durango Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Team.??Our IOP team holds small caseloads to provide intensive, deep, and comprehensive treatment. Team members collaborate with local partners such as probation, Hilltop House Community Corrections, and problem-solving courts to ensure coordination and continuity of care for our patients.

Our ideal candidate will have their master’s degree in one of the recognized mental health professions and be Colorado Licensed or license eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAC).? Experience working with substance use disorders is strongly preferred, but candidates passionate about supporting adults navigating substance use disorders in our community are strongly encouraged to apply.

Physical demands:Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between AHS locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. AHS may make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Additional eligibility requirements:Annual Flu immunization, Annual TB screening, CPI training within 90 days of hire, BLS PRO certification required within 90 days of hire.
