Axis Health System is offering an internship opportunity in Montrose, CO! Candidates will have completed their bachelor's degree and actively pursuing master's degree.

Intern Students are:

• Required to come from a school which AHS has an Internship Agreement or MOU.
• Will adhere to established curriculum from the educational institution.
• Required to pass background check.
• Required to attend New Employee Onboarding and New Employee Development Day.
• Held to the same standards as AHS employees for standards of conduct. 

Necessary paperwork from Intern Student (provide after approval):

• Current professional license or certification (if applicable) 
• Supervisor contract signed by the educational institution and the Axis Health System supervisor.
• Two letters of recommendations from college professor(s)
• Documentation of Professional Liability Insurance including worker's compensation coverage from your educational institution.
• Copy of Driver's License
• Copy of current Basic Life Support
• Proof of Flu shot 
• Proof of TB test
• Check made out to Axis Health System for the amount of $15.00 to cover the cost of background checks. (The cost may vary we will confirm the cost prior to onboarding as the check will not be collected until the first day of onboarding) 

Additional eligibility requirements:

• CPI training /in 90 days
