To help us drive excellence, as a Toolmaker you’ll get to:

• Maintain, build, and upgrade dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• Make decisions and judgments about proper course of action for repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrates good short- and long-term decision making in these areas:

1. Tooling troubleshooting

2. Diagnosis of problem and courses of action

3. Tool room repair and maintenance work

4. Tool Room machining practices

5. Program timing, meeting deadlines

• Perform all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).

• Promote teamwork and shows a willingness to work with other departments.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

This full-time role is a part of our Tool & Die team and reports to the Operations Manager

Required education & experience:

• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or eight years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Journeyman’s card preferred.

Required skills & Abilities:

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to safely operate forklift
• Must be able to safely operate overhead canes
• Ability to run all tool room and precision equipment efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Preferred additional skills & abilities:

• Ability to work with Microsoft Office at a basic level.
