Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment. While performing the responsibilities of this position, the individual is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit various parts of the organization. Requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. Requires sitting and standing for extensive periods of time, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment for extended periods of time. Travel to other Axis health centers and other local travel will be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Our History Axis began in 1972 as a health center for low-income children, and over the years has grown to provide medical care for all ages. We also offer mental health counseling services, outpatient addiction recovery programs, a WIC nutrition program and school and community-based services. We have six sites, and serve more than 14,000 people.
