- 2 years of relevant experience in operating AutoDesk products including Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong computer background with ability to read, analyze and generate drawings, specifications and submittals
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarization with large document printers (plotter)
- Must be able to work independently
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn
- Capable of traveling to and maneuvering around project sites for attending client and project meetings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Generate MEP line drawings
- Design plan layouts as requested by customer, utilizing blueprints or sketches
- Work closely with the MEP designers to support in-house pre-construction team, design team and project management team with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training
- Manage and analyze models provided by Architects, Engineers, trade contractors and consultants to identify coordination and constructability issues.
- Manage coordination process, conduct clash detection, visual walkthroughs, and clash-free signoff to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate field Trimble measurements with the BIM model
- Makes field calls to measure, consult, follow-up, etc.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Actively listen to and engage customer, using appropriate skills to match the customer’s needs
- Set up and layout projects, manage the graphics of a project and manage the printing/plotting distribution process.
- Maintain and update department standards, libraries, and associated graphics related to AutoDesk
- Learn future software upgrades and continue to refine personal and professional skill sets.
- Conduct BIM close-out process, including the final as-built models.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives
