We are working with an established Packaging company based in Buffalo Grove, IL. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of $30 - $35 p/h along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental and PTO.
The Maintenance Technician needs to possess a strong hands-on background in mechanical and Electrical skills directly related to operating in a Manufacturing Environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of machinery onsite
- Conducting planned and preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
- PLC Fault finding and diagnostics
- Machine improvements
Experience required:
- 5 years of experience within manufacturing facility in similar industry
- Mechanical and Electrical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
- Problem solving and ability to fault find on production machinery
