Axiom Talent Platform is Hiring a Commercial Contracts Counsel Near Orlando, FL

We are currently seeking an attorney looking to grow a rewarding in-house legal career to work with a prominent restaurant operator with a nationwide presence in their Orlando, FL offices. This role will involve supporting a wide range of transactional matters with a strong emphasis on drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts. Ideal candidates will have 4 years of transactional legal experience and must be willing to work on-site in Orlando, Florida.

This opportunity enables you to leverage your experience and expertise to counsel and collaborate with some of the most innovative and dynamic minds in the industry while developing a diverse set of skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a busy and collegial legal department with a wide range of commercial agreements including vendor contracts, supply agreements, technology contracts, marketing agreements, licensing agreements and employment agreements.
  • Review, red-line, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements adhering to industry best practices and mitigating risk as necessary.
  • Provide practical and clear legal advice to internal business units including finance, HR, marketing and supply chain functions.
  • Support on special projects as needed and liaise with internal and external counsel to ensure timely and efficient resolution to day-to-day legal matters.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience practicing law with an emphasis on commercial contracts.
  • Experience drafting and red-lining vendor contracts, MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, employment agreements and marketing agreements.
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to advise internal business teams while simultaneously mitigating risk and supporting commercial business growth.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Orlando, FL.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $100,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
