 This role will have multiple openings to work onsite in Houston, TX

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Documentation of appropriate requirements within JAMA, via clear, complete, and verifiable definition.
• Management of requirements changes through the appropriate change control process - coordination, scheduling and participation in formal requirement reviews.
• Working with Subystems (and other appropriate stakeholders) to identify appropriate requirements
• Collaboration with Verification and Validation to document appropriate requirement verifications
• Requirement decomposition analysis – identification of parents, children, orphans
• Manage ICDs with NASA, Visting Vehicles, Payloads, etc.
• Participate in System and Subsystem requirement reviews
• Maintain disciplined configuration control, documentation, and management processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• 8 years of experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or technical equivalent
• 6 years of experience with master’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or technical equivalent
• 4 years of experience with PhD degree from an accredited university in engineering or technical equivalent
• Required experience with requirement development, documentation, review, and verification/validation
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple projects
• Ability to thrive in a fast environment and produce timely results
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
