Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team as a 1099 contractor with our rapidly expanding company!

In this role, you will provide invaluable support to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them in achieving their rehabilitation goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement prescribed therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to promote mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on proper techniques for exercises and activities to facilitate independent management of their conditions.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of FL
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a PTA, preferably in a home health or similar setting.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes within the designated service area.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet the needs of a diverse caseload.
