PARTS MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Collision Parts Manager is a critical role responsible for managing the part order process of receiving, posting, storing, dispatching to auto body technicians, and returning parts. Receive all parts as indicated on repair orders in CCC One and verify the accuracy and quality of parts received and work with vendors to order any supplemental parts. Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and a high degree of accuracy while working under pressure. Ability to work well with others to achieve common goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received
- Ensure invoices and credit memos are entered in CCC One in a timely manner
- Distribute parts to auto body technicians according to production schedule
- Follow up with vendors to successfully process and post credit memo on returned parts
- Label all parts by R.O. Number and store them accordingly
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to keep up and succeed in a fast-paced working environment
- General tidiness of the parts and storage areas
- Always ensure safety is a top priority
- Other assigned duties
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years experience working with collision automotive parts, LKQ, Keystone, etc.
- Minimum 2 years working with CCC One program, will train right individual
- Parts sourcing: OEM, Aftermarket
- knowledge of vehicle collision repair practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Organizational and problem solving skills
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
- Driver’s License (mandatory)
JOB TYPE & DESCRIPTION
- Monday – Friday (8 hours per day, overtime available)
SALARY
- $20 - $24 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
