Job Title : Materials Handler (Heavy) I (3rd shift)
Location : Altavista , VA
Timings : 11 : 00 pm - 7 : 30 am
Job Description :
- This position is Non Exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
- Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near plant, yard or work site.
- Reads and follows work orders and / or oral instructions; uses hand tools to open containers.
Additional experience required -
- Data entry using ORACLE (ADMS).
- Measure and weigh materials using weighing scale and ruler or similar devices.
Computer Skills.
- Experience with shipping (UPS / FedEx) and receiving (preferred).
- Will be required to operate an electric or battery operated Forklift and / or other heavy machinery equipment.
- High School graduate or equivalent. 0-2 Years experience.
