Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Role)

Shift : Will train M-F 7am-3pm. After training will work 6pm-6am

Temp to perm possible : Yes

Interview : Possible phone screen and then an onsite interview

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Demonstrated abilities to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of different Mechanical Power Transmission Components (Gear boxes, couplings, belt and chain drives, gears and gearboxes, lubrication ...etc.
• Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and repair machine motion controls components (sensors, switches, actuators, motors, conveyor belts. Etc.)
• Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and successfully resolve issues with Machine and Supporting Systems components.
• Successfully conduct PM s on Mechanical Systems (including hydraulic, pneumatic, gearboxes......etc.)
• Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical problems and makes repairs as needed.
• Performs basic welding, brazing, and cutting to fabricate items such as guardrails, brackets, and hangers.
• Effectively uses measuring, testing and diagnostics devices and tools for PdM.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records in the CMMS, Reads Pneumatics, Hydraulics Prints and Schematics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Power Tools as well as Machine Shop Equipment.
• Working with and Troubleshooting Robotics is a PLUS
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have Vocational School, associate degree with 2 years experience in Manufacturing facility or High School Diploma and 3 Years of Proven Experience in the field.
• Experience troubleshooting Mechanical Systems and machinery in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to always work Safely (on his own and with others)
