Job Title : Bankruptcy Specialist II (Hybrid - 3 - 4 days in office)
Location : Glen Allen, VA
Job Description :
- Monitor loans in bankruptcy to ensure debtors comply with their bankruptcy plans.
- Adhere to investor, state, federal, and bankruptcy court guidelines and timeframes.
- Coordinate with departments such as foreclosure, loss mitigation, escrow analysis, taxes, and insurance to communicate bankruptcy statuses.
- Serve as the first point of contact for bankruptcy attorneys and customers undergoing bankruptcy.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal bankruptcy rules and laws.
- Prevent sanctions from state or federal organizations for failure to maintain bankruptcy timeframes.
