We are seeking an experienced Brush Painter (Windows and Doors) to work in our shop in Claymont, Delaware!

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM -3:30 PM (or as work load requires)

Pay Range: is dependent on experience.

Brush Painter (Windows and Doors) Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
• Select appropriate paints or coatings for each project
• Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired results
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Ensure proper coverage and smooth application of paint
• Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment
• Ability to read and understand paint specifications.
• Follows company procedures and safety standards.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Brush Painter (Windows and Doors) Requirements:

• Previous experience in restoration preferred.
• Must have hand tools
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Able to lift. Push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Must be able and willing to cross train in other departments.
• Must be able to travel when needed.
• Possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
