Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment.

Duties:

• Inspect structures or material.
• Apply Cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants or coatings.
• Mask production items in preparation for painting.
• Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specifications.
• Operate mix or blending machine; use hand or power tools.
• Prime and or paint a range of materials from aluminum, steel, and plastic surfaces.
• Read work orders and instructions.
• Distinguish colors.
• Follow all safe work practices.
• Physical ability to carry or lift 50 pounds or more, stand for long periods, work above your head.
• Clean and maintain equipment including work and storage areas.
• Ability to multitask and work on different projects simultaneously.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
• Keep accurate records of productivity, inventory items needed to complete work orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation

· Exceptional Attendance

· Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals)

· Strong organization skills, able to multi-task and manage frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed

· The ability to work well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily

· Problem solving skills in a fast-paced, and at times, stressful environment

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· United States i-9 work authorization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
