Job Description: Position: Human Resources Business Partner, CBMO Reporting to: Director of Human Resources, CBMO Location: Bentonville, AR (On-site) Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Human Resources Business Partner. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by Alice Walton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Heartland Whole Health Institute. About the Position As a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), you will help deliver the company’s mission by supporting all employees at Crystal Bridges and The Momentary. This role will have both administrative & strategic responsibilities. This work includes interacting with employees at all levels, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. As a HRBP, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support across various functional area including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, comp analysis, performance and change management. What you will do Responsibilities Manage full cycle onboarding process to include preparing offer letters, memos and processing new hires in Workday. Help develop, facilitate and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process. Manage employee offboarding process, including exit interviews. Track and maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and other HR-related documentation Effectively collaborate with management and entity specific HR teams to maximize performance by anticipating problems, advising of risks associated with current business practices and recommending improvements Responds to human resources related questions and issues from managers and employees (e.g., performance, discipline, termination, etc.) to ensure accurate and consistent interpretation and application of policies and procedures Apply decision making and risk management across all company projects and initiatives to ensure employee retention, engagement, and efficiency in operations Managing compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current on laws and regulations related to general human resource practices and regulations related to licensure and certification; implementing and monitoring HR compliance; implementing action plans to improve performance and reduce instances of non-compliance; and directing management teams in ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records Independently conduct thorough employee relations investigations, meticulously gathering evidence and conducting interviews. Prepare comprehensive investigation summary reports, analyzing findings and providing clear and actionable recommendations to management. Escalate and involve senior management and / or legal on critical issues as appropriate. Counsel, coach and mediate issues or concerns with employees and or supervisors to obtain a reasonable resolution. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives. Help to develop playbooks with standardized approaches for use throughout the ecosystem to drive efficiency and ensure consistent positive experiences for associates Ability to collect, organize, interpret data & run reports as needed Support and guide internal efforts for diversity and inclusion Support with monthly & annual budget process. Support recruitment functions to include, vetting applicant pool, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letter, updating JDs, etc. Serve as backup to all assigned HR Functions to include LinkedIn Learn, Training & Development Director & be the culture champion of two spaces one institution Partner with benefits & payroll on WC, ADA, FMLA, PTO, timekeeping, etc. Other duties and projects as assigned. Professional Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus Minimum of five years various HR Functions preferred Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role Strong knowledge in HR best practices, labor laws and regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal team members and external stakeholders Familiarity with payroll processes and HRIS systems Excellent organizational skills, critical thinker, attention to detail, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and ability to learn new software applications Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, remaining adaptable and resilient Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines Workday experience is a plus Personal attributes that support your success You are a team player and express servant-leadership when collaborating with others You are welcoming to change and proactive about managing through it You have a bias for action, are results oriented and exercise sound judgment in your work A lifelong learner, who is inquisitive and solves problems with bold thinking and innovation A visionary who plans for the future with imagination and wisdom Committed to building and modeling equitable systems, beginning with diversity, access, and inclusion Cultivate strong relationships through building trust and acting with integrity with colleagues and leaders Comfortable in a fast-pace, innovative environment where change is constant Goal-setting individual with measured focus on operational excellence and results Innovative mindset and willingness to experiment with new ideas AWE is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building and maintaining a culturally diverse workplace.
