Description
Job Title: Server Assistant
Reports to: Restaurant Manager, Banquet Manager, Club House Manager
Supervises: No supervisory duties
Essential Functions:
- Report to work and clock in/out for scheduled shifts on time in complete and proper uniform
- Maintain personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread and butter to the table (ice water on guest request/server notification)
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
- Crumb every table after entrees are cleared and between courses as needed
- Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware etc., in appropriate areas for washing
- Remain on the floor at all times and in assigned station when not assisting servers in kitchen
- Promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths between seating. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletops
- Respond appropriately and politely to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to servers as needed
- Communicate with server and captain to assure efficient seating, table utilization and member service
- Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
- Thank guests as they are leaving
- Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal periods.
- Must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
- Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side work
- Maintain a neat and clean work area and/or in liquor rooms and behind bars (bar-back)
- Follow all company policies, systems, controls and procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty

- Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficiently to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with no assistance.
- Frequent lifting 20-30 lbs.
- Independent mobility through clubhouse.
Salary Description
$12 - $14 (Depending on Experience)
