Job Description Summary
At Avocados From Mexico®, we nurture hearts to live life deliciously. The Associate Manager of Digital Marketing is a dynamic and valuable role on the Marketing team which supports the brand building and innovation efforts across all digital channels. The Associate Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and is responsible for the flawless execution of digital campaigns and activations across all owned and paid platforms. These digital marketing efforts should drive consumer awareness, recognition and preference of the Avocados From Mexico® brand vs. other avocado brands or origins for the ultimate goal of increasing overall value for the brand and product as well as driving consumption with consumers.
This position requires a positive, energetic, and highly collaborative individual who possesses the ability to cultivate strong working relationships while supporting the executional plans that will enable the achievement of the brand goals.
Responsibilities
Social Media, Digital Strategy & Planning:
  • Participate in the development of the annual marketing plan including researching digital trends, identifying consumer insights, and exploring innovative marketing ideas in digital that will drive future brand growth
  • Support the planning and development of the brand digital strategy across our strategic pillars: Brand, Tentpoles, Health & Wellness, and Education
  • Contribute to building the brand’s organic social content calendar and influencer strategy in partnership with the digital agency.
  • Manage the AFM relationship with influencers and content creators as needed.
  • Monitor all social media platforms to ensure that each one is maintained and reflecting the current campaign messaging
  • Develop inspiring creative and media briefs for digital campaigns that deliver on the business objectives
  • Lead the development of digital creative assets for pre-testing to drive brand performance
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends and identify new platforms or solutions to create efficiency in content and social media campaigns.
Content Development & Campaign Management
  • Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager on the execution of all digital marketing campaigns and activations for tentpole programs, including Super Bowl, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments
  • Maintain project timelines and budgets, and work closely with the creative and media teams to launch digital campaign deliverables on time
  • Lead the development of content for the brand’s website, social media channels and other digital advertising.
  • Execute the digital amplification of experiential brand programs
  • Assist with CRM, email marketing, and deployment of the digital newsletter.
  • Build and manage the image inventory of AFM digital. Work closely with brand team to incorporate these assets into the asset management system.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign results extensively and extract actionable insights from reporting to improve the performance of our campaigns on an ongoing basis.
Administrative Coordination
  • Manage all key stakeholder and USDA approvals for the digital team.
  • Organize material for meetings with top management and prepare and distribute minutes and reports.
  • Support the digital team with presentations as needed for various board and team meetings.
  • Coordinate contract development and budget management and work closely with vendors and agencies on billing
  • Manage multiple agencies on planning and executing digital campaigns
Skills/Qualifications

  • Brand content development experience.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing required
  • 3-5 years of experience working in top-tier ad agencies and/or client-side brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Marketing or Advertising is a plus.
