Speech and Language Pathologist Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to the organization's guidelines, professional standards and community needs. Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to all internal and external customers. Participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.

Education/Certification:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty with a strong degree of professionalism. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech and Language Pathology. Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards. Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing. Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.

CPR Certification, as required for license renewal.
Sub Acute/SNF experience is necessary.
