· Can learn and apply proper sequences and techniques for the chemical plating processes.
· Works with a high level of awareness regarding safety
· Carries out directives from experienced plating operators, leads, supervisor, and manager with a positive attitude. (Including chemical additions, cleaning, inspecting, etc.)
· Attention to detail during the plating process to ensure quality standards.
· Demonstrates the ability to multi-task. Able to plate several jobs simultaneously with positive results.
· Maintain accurate entries in production logs
· Works diligently on tasks requiring critical parameters such as dwell times, ampere application, monitoring of thickness requirements
· Refrains from unnecessary talking and visiting of other workstations
· Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, safety glasses, boots, etc.)
· Capable of learning how to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
· Capable of learning how to interpret basic plating specifications with the help of experienced plating operators.
· Demonstrate ability to work independently while maintaining quantity and quality goals.
· Communication can be exchanged in person and in writing.
Qualifications:
· Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
· Detail oriented
· Manages time effectively
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Job requires walking and lifting.
· Arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity, and multi-limb coordination.
· Excellent vision and good auditory attention.
· Visual color discrimination is required to differentiate color shades and brightness, and depth perception is needed to assess distances.
· Ability to communicate in basic English
· Bilingual a plus
