Position Overview:

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Agent to oversee our warehouse operations and manage our purchasing needs. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, and managing the purchasing process for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory management, and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all warehouse activities
• Monitor and report on warehouse efficiency and productivity
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory counts

Purchasing

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that support business objectives
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for goods and services
• Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities
• Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address purchasing needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred but not required.
• Preferred 5 years of experience in warehouse management and/or purchasing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with inventory management software and purchasing tools
• Knowledge of safety and security standards in a warehouse environment
