Performance Engineer 365 (H)

A leading enterprise software solutions company is seeking a Performance Engineer. The ideal candidate has experience with JMeter, Java, and Unix. The company offers a great work environment.

Performance Engineer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $65-$75/hr
• Worksite: Leading enterprise software solutions company (Pleasanton, CA 94588, Open to remote, Candidates local to Pleasanton are preferred, Must work PST hours) 
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k
• 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, Possible extension

Performance Engineer Qualifications: 

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
• 3 years in performance engineering.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• MS in Computer Science, Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience in developing scripts using one of the tools like JMeter, Loadrunner, Gatling, etc.
• Hands-on experience in analyzing performance issues across the entire stack.
• Understanding of JVM, Database and Unix system internals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes deployment processes for services.
• Working knowledge of cloud services such as Amazon web services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud etcGreat team player.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, such as React.js, Node.js, RESTful api, JSON, services.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NOSQL databases.
• Know-how with CI/CD: Github, Jenkins pipelines.
