Aviran Health is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Tulsa, OK

We are seeking an excellent Clinical Director for a large new substance abuse (drug and alcohol rehab) facility. The Clinical Director will provide clinical support management and direction to the clinical staff within the boundaries of standards mandated by Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) Chapter #18 and JCAHO. The Director will also provide administrative and supervisory duties for residential counselors. This position may be required to also provide direct care counseling to a minimal caseload of clients, conduct small-group, and provide education/lectures

Responsibilities:
-Assist the facility to develop a clinical program and oversee the clinical programming for the entire program to meet and maintain State regulatory and JCAHO requirements.

-Educate clinical staff in the application of the OAC Chapter #18, JCAHO standards and facility policy and procedures.

-Demonstrate an understanding of trauma-informed care and its multiple applications in residential care, including provision of evidence-based treatment, curriculum, the development of policy and procedures, staff performance review, and clinical supervision.

-Demonstrate consistently culturally competent interactions with clients and colleagues, including a working knowledge of what a recovery culture entails and the principles of 12-step programs and other community resources.

-Supervise residential clinical staff record keeping documentation according to mandated standards and facility policy and procedures. Ensure clinical staff maintains compliance with program evaluations and performance improvement processes.

-Provide clinical staff with administrative supervision, as well as work as a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team as a member and leader. This includes managing/supervising residential clinical staff in the application of professional counseling ethics and behaviors

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or an addiction related field and be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/MH) or combination of LPC/LBHP and LADC and in good standing with the licensure board

- For this co-occurring facility, must be dually licensed and able to provide services to both substance abuse and co-occurring diagnosed clientele

-At least four (4) years clinical experience in providing professional counseling services in the treatment of substance abuse, psychiatric disorders, and crisis intervention or in a position with a dual emphasis

-Minimum two (2) years experience in the clinical/administrative supervision of treatment staff

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
