Production Planning Supervisor
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes :
Possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and customers.
Ability to perform task with accuracy and efficiency in the highest regard to quality and confidentiality (when required)
Must follow company protocols and provide inputs for continuous improvement to all processes.
Current driver’s license
Proficient in Microsoft Office with focus in Excel (pivot tables) SHAPS (Aviagen sales and hatchery system) and MTech Protein BPA (Breeder Planning Assistant -Production management system for flock management and production forecasting
The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department. Normal duties will include :
Responsible for supervising, scheduling and training employees
Maintain Safety, Bio-Security and Animal Welfare protocols
Supporting the company’s ISO program
Performing weekly duties related to forecast monitoring and changes as deemed required by management team
Forecasting short term availability (one week and less) by flock to direct short-term order movement based upon product availability
Producing monthly reports on hatchery utilization, hatchability by line, forecast versus actual hatchability and other reports as directed
Supervise and validate data for the release of the Production Planning Inventory Management system to internal users.
Budget Process Manage accelerated time line and ensure timely delivery to the Senior Management Team
Software Upgrades evaluate new programs for scheduling product, product availability and others as needed
May perform other duties as deemed necessary by management
