General Purpose of Job :

Avflight Corporation is in need of a Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance functions for our facility.

Duties :

• Clean floors, windows, fixtures, stairs, restrooms and doors
• Trash removal from facility
• Move furniture around, buff and wax floors, vacuum the floors
• Dust desks and other areas as needed
• Maintain mechanical equipment as well as heating and cooling equipment by adjustment of control switch
• Landscaping and Light exterior cleaning, including removing leaves from the front walk
• Perform routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs for tenants, etc. as well as other building maintenance as requested
• Must be able to multi-task
• Perform different airline related tasks
• Operate ground equipment
• Stay current on airline mandated training
• Other various jobs as requested by management

Qualifications :

• Minimum Age of 18 years old
• Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid Driver's license
• Be in good physical condition and able to perform job duties as assigned with limited supervision
• Must follow directions and work the schedule as assigned
• Ability to bend / stoop / twist
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment

Work Environment :

Airport environment : Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
