AVEVA Drug Delivery Systems is Hiring an Inventory Clerk Near Miramar, FL
Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the physical inventory, reconciliation of daily and or weekly inventory variances, assist the Buyers on daily analysis/maintenance of the SCM (Supply Chain Management) tool. You will be a key member of the inventory procurement / planning team in a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Research and reconciliation of daily/monthly inventory variances.
- Issues inventory to requisitions.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Maintenance and set-up of newly requested part numbers.
- Supports the Inventory Manager/Planner with the analysis of the Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory Report. Provide recommendations of movement and or disposal of inventory. Document root cause and suggest best practices.
- Provides general administration, word processing and data entry support.
- Assists with testing of new procedures and systems.
- Physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
- Operates in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements
- Performs all work in support of our Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion
- All other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control or related roles
- Experience with Excel
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and demand planning principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
