Aveshka is Hiring a Software Developer, Full-Stack Near Vienna, VA

Overview:

Aveshka's Technology Service Division is looking for a Microsoft Full-Stack Developer to join our federal technology services practice. We are looking for a consummate professional that can confidently own entire app dev projects from design through deployment and maintenance. You should possess serious C#, ASP, SQL, SQL Server, SharePoint, and JavaScript skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, rock-solid applications. Please be a true full-stack developer that has proven technical leadership experience, hands-on programming expertise, and demonstrated success delivering full-life cycle development projects.

In this role, you will be a technical leader driving the development of a data migration for the United States Executive Office of the President in Washington, DC. You will work directly with the government's product owner to analyze user stories, conduct agile estimation. You will work independently or with a small team to execute activities including designing user interfaces, programming application logic, conducting unit & system testing, deploy apps, and troubleshooting defects. You will help identify new SDK capabilities and features and potential improvements. You will stand-up a stable development pipeline that other team members can leverage. You will largely work remotely from home, but you must make yourself available to commute into the client office for picking up IT equipment or joining important meetings as requested by the client so please reside in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes existing applications and databases.
  • Develops and creates new databases.
  • Design database migration and data integration activities.
  • Develops data migration scripts (ETL Scripts) in SQL Server
  • Conduct testing of data migration results via both the backend and the user interface
  • Configures and customizes Microsoft SharePoint systems according to company specifications
  • Programs scalable custom SharePoint-based web applications, writes and modifies code, debugs software, and trains staff.
  • Develops software solutions by working directly with Product Owner and other internal customers to understand requirements, analyzing work processes, determining data requirements, performing software design, programming, debugging, testing, and deploying software solutions.
  • Build proof of concept examples and demos for training purposes.
  • Troubleshoots and solves complex software issues

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

  • 5 years developing both custom and out-of-the-box Microsoft SharePoint solutions
  • Programming skills including C#, ASP.NET, SQL, T-SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Customizing SharePoint Lists, Libraries, Views, Add-ins, & workflows
  • Leading conversations with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Users
  • Active listening skills and flexibility in adapting to feedback from team members
  • Following through on multiple tasks simultaneously to achieve deadlines
  • Attention to detail, ability to self-manage, and maintain high quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CompTIA Security certification
  • US Citizenship

Required Clearance:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a TS clearance
