Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at four of our residential properties. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a pleasant and sanitary environment for our clients.

Avery Lane is an innovative San Francisco Bay Area substance abuse, dual-diagnosis, and trauma specialized women’s rehab treatment center with both inpatient and outpatient levels of care, designed specifically for the needs of women by women treatment professionals. We embody a community environment where staff and clients work together to grow and empower one another. We treat adult women over the age of 18 years old in an intimate, home-feel type setting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Replenish supplies, such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards

Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry cleaning standards is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is desirable
- Ability to manage housekeeping duties efficiently and independently

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
- Basic understanding of housekeeping management principles is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
