Family Law attorney needed for a well established and expanding estate planning and family law firm. Must have at least one year experience in civil litigation, family law experience preferred. Full time, some remote work possible, needed immediately to take over current case load. Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing. Compensation is determined by a base salary plus commission. Previous associates in this possession have earned up to $120,000 annually. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Experience with Clio and domestic violence advocacy preferred but not required.

This is a partnership track position. The firm pays 100% of health insurance for the employee after 90 day probationary period, all bar dues, CLE fees, travel expenses for CLE’s, marketing, and overhead. Office has been newly renovated in 2021 with gorgeous views and beautifully decorated.

Averett Family Law was established in 1998 and has a reputation for being caring, efficient and fierce. This position is for the Chapel Hill office, but we also have an office in Sanford. We currently practice primarily in Orange, Chatham, Durham, Lee, Harnett and Moore counties. You will be mentored by Melissa Averett, NC Certified Family Law Specialist, Domestic Violence expert, owner and founder of the firm, as well as other attorneys in the firm.
