Position Highlights:
- Flexible schedule 30-40 hours per week.
- Perform 6-8 scans/day.
- Variety of scans OB, Abdominal, Breast, Venous legs
- Day shift Monday-Friday
- No Holidays
Job Summary
- The Sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered.
- Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting images.
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduation of formal ultrasound training program or equivalent approved by ARDMS; six months to one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credentialed or board eligible for RDMS credential after passing ARDMS physics boards.
