Job Summary

• The Pre-Anesthesia Call Center RN manages and coordinates the day-to-day functioning of a reliable, patient centered process to prepare patients and requisite documentation for surgery and procedures.
• The effective flow of patients through Pre-Anesthesia is critical to the Surgery department and procedural areas starting on time and for a quality anesthesia assessment.
• Assists in completing charts for surgical procedures, radiology special procedures and other areas as directed.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of generalized nursing experience required.
• Prior surgical nursing experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

Work Schedule

• Varied daytime shifts, occasional weekends, occasional holidays, occasional call time; 40 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
