Job Summary
- The personal trainer is accountable for demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possessing the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
- Provide members with an individual training program that is tailored to the needs, wants and desires of each client; based on their health history, test results and fitness goals.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- 0-6 months of experience is required.
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- BLS certifications is required.
- Valid Personal Training Certification is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
