Job Summary Accountable for direct patient care and for supervising the care provided by other professional and ancillary staff. Focuses on the work of the department, quality monitoring, teaching and serving as an ongoing resource.# Provides leadership to achieve desired customer satisfaction and service delivery.# Assists with scheduling, orientation, and training of staff.# Monitors clinical expertise for the work unit.# The Therapy Supervisor will also assist the Director in the overall goals and growth of Avera Therapy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience Bachelor#s degree from a four-year college or university with previous management experience preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certification, Licensure, Registration Licensed by the state of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist, Occupational or Speech Therapist required. If supervising in Hand Clinic, Certified as a Hand Therapist by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) Work Schedule Monday-Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
