Job Summary

• The Mammography Quality Control Technologist is accountable for coordination and supervision of mammography quality and services.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiological Technology Program is required.
• Associates Degree is required.
• Experience in Mammography and Mammography quality control service is required.

License/Certification/Registration

• Current A.R.R.T. Registration is required.
• Current IA Permit to Practice is required.
• Advanced modality certification in Mammography is required.
• Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Completion of Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse Courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • Varied 9-hour shifts
  • Occasional weekend (Weekend call rotation, approximately 1 every 5 weekends)
  • Occasional holiday (Holiday call rotation, approximately 1 every 5 holiday)
  • Occasional call time (Call rotation, approximately 1 every 5 nights not including the weekend and holiday call rotation)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $31.75 - $48.00
