Job Summary

The dietitian provides individual and group diabetes self-management education, and serves as a resource to other professionals.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Dietetic Internship or similar American Dietetic Association approved Program required.
• Two years of experience in dietetics with experience in diabetes education preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or obtain registration within three months of hire date is required.
• Licensed as a Dietitian in the State of South Dakota required; potential for multiple state licensure.
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) completed or pursuing eligibility to sit for exam preferred

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
