Avera is currently seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Position Highlights:

• Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department.
• Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swing bed, pediatrics, outpatient adult.

Job Summary

• The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible to administer specified evaluations, conduct general activity programs, and assist in implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team.

Education and/or Experience

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; graduate of an accredited program for Occupational Therapist Assistants required.
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Certification in Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of South Dakota required.

Work Schedule

• This position is PRN, which means the hours you work are as needed.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $22.00 - $31.75
