Job Summary The Registered Nurse in the Clinic is accountable for providing high quality professional care in their scope of practice to patients and families under the supervision of a provider. Education and/or Experience Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required Clinic experience preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration Upon hire Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota Within 30 days of hire Basic Life Support Within six months of hire (or first available course) If working in In-reach or Internal Medicine Clinic where stress tests are performed: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) If working in Memory Care Clinic Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) Within six months of hire (or first available course) if working in Occupational Medicine Clinic Federal Drug Screens (Escreen and Profile drug tests, to independently administer to patients) Breath Alcohol Tests (to independently administer to patients) Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (COAHC, audiology) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (pulmonary function tests) # Work Schedule Hours will be added to current employee#s FTE: 3- 8 hour shifts per week; 48 additional hours every 2 weeks # What Makes Avera Special? #
