➢ What You'll Do

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client'schallenges and needs• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed

➢ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred• MUST HAVE: PRSS or CIT licensure• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills• Strong presence and sound judgement• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles

Avenues Recovery Center at Covington is a 104 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcoholdetoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services. Merging highly individualized, targeted treatmentplans with compassionate and respectful care, here you'll discover a truly unique treatmentexperience. Avenues Covington is staffed by a round- the clock team of seasoned doctors, nurses,psychiatric specialists, addiction counselors and behavioral health technicians, as well as CNAs toprovide constant support with Assisted Daily Living Services. Our team utilizes an array of evidence -based therapy modalities - including CBT, DBT. EMDR, MAT and Motivational Interviewing - toachieve the best possible outcomes for every client. Avenues' new facility is spacious, inviting andfully wheelchair - accessible, providing the serene and soothing environment so conducive torecovery.
