Avenu Holdings LLC is Hiring an On-Site Data Processing Manager Near Chicago, IL

 

Job Summary:

Avenu is currently seeking a skilled and motivated On-Site Document Scanning Manager to Manage a on-site scan teams at the client site. The successful candidate will be responsible for project oversight, team management, equipment setup, scanning customer original documents, and promptly resolving any technical issues that may arise during the project. The Production Manager performs analysis and planning functions using a high level of judgment and initiative with minimum supervision. They act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and track requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. Duties and Responsibilities:

Applicants must have a reliable mode of transportation, a clean a valid driver’s license, the ability to fly commercial airlines as a passenger, etc. 

Equipment Setup and Troubleshooting: The On-Site Document Scanning Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining scanning equipment at each location and conducting immediate troubleshooting to address any technical challenges, ensuring a smooth scanning process.

  • Plan production Schedule
    1. Implement, monitor and control the production schedule
      • Review and Adjust schedule where needed
      • Determine material resources required
      • Estimate costs and set quality standards
      • Ensure the production is cost effective
      • Establish and maintain a timescale for the job
  • Set and manage production budgets
  • Inventory: Create and maintain an inventory of customer original documents using Excel.
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs
  • Prepare and maintain production reports
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers
  • Monitor and review staff performance, organize interventions for improvement
  • Identify training needs and implement training plans
  • Act as a decision maker for the selection of and maintenance of equipment
  • Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines 
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management

You are representing Avenu and interacting with customers, candidates will have to maintain a clean and professional appearance and attitude – this role is a reflection of the company.

Education and Experience:

  • Production: 5 years (Required)
  • Production Management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Experience with Digitizing microforms and paper documents in a Service Bureau Environment
  • Experience with microfilming and scanning equipment and associated software.
  • Experience with Inventory Control programs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Have demonstrated expertise in process management to ensure production efficiency 
  • Knowledge and expertise in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Proven time management skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong ability to use computers and learn new programs/interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and critical thinking. 
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

.A basic understanding of digital imaging (file types, resolution, aspect ratio, etc.).

  • Familiarity with image correction and indexing/tagging procedures is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • You will be working in our customer’s buildings and must wear business casual clothes. Always conduct yourself in a professional manner as you are representing Avenu.
  • Manage two work streams in two separate locations 20 minutes apart.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds safely by themselves.
  • Move customer originals from shelves to workstation and back. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a production scanners & printing machines
  • This position requires going between two production locations 20 minutes apart and move about inside the office
  • The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone, Teams, email.
