Aveda Arts and Science Institutes is currently hiring for a Regional Financial Aid Director.
This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the Financial Aid department in their region to administer federal, state and institutional financial aid funds and services. Performs standard financial aid duties such as loan processing, verification and satisfactory academic progress monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Train each FA manager on policies, procedures and processes to ensure conformity and compliance throughout the company
Work with School Directors and FA Managers to submit drop paperwork within the required timeframe (i.e. when a student doesn’t return from leave, 14 days absent etc.), ensure withdraws are being processed timely upon receipt
Process R2T4’s and institutional refunds within DOE requirements
Close the week in FAME and run reports to request funding weekly and post funds with the appropriate funding dates for both Pell and direct loans
Work with FA managers to ensure drop and grad files with balances are being submitted to the collections department within the requested timeframe
Assist Financial Aid managers with Enrollment Reporting through FASLine to ensure they are submitted by the deadline.
Work with FAS to set-up webinars for existing FA managers and new FA managers
Identify an FA manager trainer for each region to assist with the training of the new FA managers
Review reports weekly/monthly that processes and policies are being adhered to
Submit GE requirements annually within DOE timeframe
Assist with submitting documentation for Federal Compliance Audit.
Stays abreast of all financial aid updates and Regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
Experience with financial reports and financial calculations preferred.
Detail oriented.
Excellent organization skills.
Strong computer skills especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay grade range is equivalent to 56,526.46 - 86,978.50 annually.
